Michael Ketchmark
Personal Injury Attorney
Michael Ketchmark specializes in discrimination and personal injury cases. In 2004, Ingram’s magazine named Mr. Ketchmark as one of the Top 40 People in Kansas City under the age of forty. He was also recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as one of Missouri’s top five Up and Coming Lawyers in 1998.
In 1997, Michael obtained 3 of the top 20 verdicts in the state of Missouri. These verdicts included, at the time, the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Platte County and the largest age discrimination verdict in the history of Missouri. Mr. Ketchmark helped lead his firm in the handling of over 100 wrongful death cases against Robert Courtney, the Kansas City pharmacist who diluted chemotherapy drugs. In 2003, Michael obtained a 2.25 billion dollar verdict, along with co-counsel, on behalf of a victim of Robert Courtney. Michael went on to serve as class counsel in heading a 35 million dollar class settlement with Courtney’s insurance company. The claim was on behalf of Courtney’s victims, who also received a large confidential settlement from the chemotherapy drug manufacturers due to the expert legal representation of Michael Ketchmark.
