Personal Injury Attorney
Scott McCreight specializes in discrimination and personal injury cases. Mr. McCreight, who once worked as a federal law clerk for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, also handles all of the firm’s appellate work and has been successful in upholding the firm’s large verdicts. Mr. McCreight helped lead his firm in the handling of over 100 wrongful death cases against Robert Courtney, the Kansas City pharmacist who diluted chemotherapy drugs. In 2003, Scott obtained a 2.25 billion dollar verdict, along with co-counsel, on behalf of a victim of Robert Courtney. Scott went on to serve as class counsel in heading a $35 million dollar class settlement with Courtney’s insurance company. The claim was on behalf of Courtney’s victims, who also received a large confidential settlement from the chemotherapy drug manufacturers due to the expert legal representation of Scott McCreight.
